SINGAPORE: A viral video has recently emerged on social media depicting a man collapsing right after hitting a jackpot of $4 million (Rs 33.87 crore) at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Casino. While the exact date of the incident remains unclear, the video captures people surrounding the man, with some appearing visibly panicked.
The video briefly showcases the man on the casino floor and a staff member helping him. A woman reportedly accompanying the man, and can be seen pleading for help from the staff and onlookers. As the video progresses, a staff member is seen helping the man.
The user with the handle @Gidi_Traffic shared the video on X (formerly known as Twitter).
“Man wins $4 million at a casino then DIES moments later of a heart attack. A man who hit the jackpot at Marina Bay Sands Casino in Singapore with a $4 million win, died almost immediately after from cardiac arrest due to the shock and excitement of his win,” the user wrote the caption.
The victim was revived in the casino and taken to the hospital, according to casino.org.
