Kendrick Lamar Debuts 'Euphoria' And 'Not Like Us' At His 'The Pop Out: Ken & Friends' Concert

LOS ANGELES: The rapper Kendrick Lamar held a special concert ‘The Pop Out: Ken & Friends’ at Kia Forum in California to celebrate Juneteenth, which was live-streamed by Amazon Music on its website and Twitch on June 19th, Friday.

At the concert, the rapper kicked off an intense and fiery set by performing ‘Euphoria’ live for the first time. This track, a diss aimed at Drake, was met with an enthusiastic and loud singalong from the audience. It was the Kendrick Lamar’s first performance since his highly publicized rap feud with Drake earlier this year.

Lamar introduced a new verse during the performance where he called for Drake to return Tupac‘s ring: “Give me Tupac ring back and I might give you a little respect“—referencing a recent event where Drake seemingly confirmed in his verse on Travis Scott’s song ‘Meltdown’ that he had bought one of Tupac’s rings at an auction. Kendrick Lamar was dressed in donned jeans, a white tee, and a red hoodie – an outfit similar to what Tupac had worn for a concert in 1994, which was worth watching.

Kendrick Lamar’s Epic Concert Showcases

Kendrick Lamar performed many hits like ‘DNA.’, ‘ELEMENT.’, ‘Alright’, ‘Swimming Pools’, and more After ‘Euphoria’. Afterward, Kendrick brought out Jay Rock to perform the latter’s hits ‘Money Trees’ and ‘King’s Dead.’ Later, Kendrick returned to disrespecting Drake, performing ‘6:16 in LA’ for the first time. He followed that up by inviting ScHoolboy Q onstage to perform ‘Collard Greens’ and ‘THat Part’.

After performing a collection of his well-known hits from throughout his career, such as ‘King Kunta’ and ‘HUMBLE,’ Lamar performed ‘Like That’, the track that reignited a long-dormant rap beef earlier in March of the same year.

Thereafter, he surprised the audience by inviting Dr. Dre to join him on stage to perform ‘Still D.R.E’ and ‘California Love.’ Kendrick also brought out Dr. Dre to whisper the iconic line “Pssst, I see dead people” line in the ‘Not Like Us’ performance.

Following that, Kendrick Lamar then proceeded to perform ‘Not Like Us’ , impressively five more times, for a total of six performances. He performed the track along with Dr. Dre, on his own twice, once with DJ Mustard and two more times with various guests onstage include Steve Lacy, Black Hippy, YG, Big Boi, and more.
