TOKYO: A Japan Airlines plane with 47 people on board made an emergency landing in Northern Aomori on Saturday after engine trouble, a company spokesperson said.
The flight took off from northern Aomori and was en route to the western region of Osaka but it was forced to turn back for an emergency landing. There were no injuries, the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said that JAL Flight 2154, an Embraer 170, returned after taking off from Aomori airport to land just over half an hour later. The company was investigating what caused the engine trouble.
