S'porean Woman’s Body Found In Vietnam Apartment, Last Seen In January

HO CHIH MINH CITY: The Body of a Singaporean woman, whose identity has not been revealed, was discovered in an apartment at The Goldview, a condominium in District 4 of the Vietnamese city in Ho Chi Minh City on June 13th. The Vietnamese police are investigating the cause of the woman’s death.

Online News outlet VnExpress describes the S’porean woman’s dead body as “desiccated”.

Vietnamese daily The Laborer reported that she was not a resident of the condominium and was last seen on Jan 31, 2024.

On June 13TH, The apartment’s owner, who had not rented out the unit, found the body and informed the condominium’s management around 3 pm.
Subsequently, A police report was filed by the management on the same afternoon.

The access card for the apartment was last recorded using the lift to access the Tower A unit at 10:20 PM on January 31st.

Forensic analysis was also conducted at the site by the local authorities. Additionally, investigations into the woman’s cause of death are still ongoing, the Vietnamese media reported.

On June 15TH, Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Singapore consulate-general in Ho Chi Minh City has been communicating with the local authorities regarding the incident.

According to the reports, the woman’s family has been provided assistance and support during their time of loss.
