KOTA KINABALU: The Fire and Rescue Department captured another crocodile in Kota Kinabalu on Saturday. The reptile was found inside a drain along Teluk Likas Jalan Tun Fuad.
The public spotted the seven-foot-long crocodile inside the drain just after midnight on May 25, a Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said.
How Fire and Rescue Department Captured The Crocodile?
In order to catch the crocodile, Kota Kinabalu fire station’s eight fire and rescue personnel were deployed to the scene.
A trap and ropes were used to captured the crocodile at 1am. The reptile was then handed over to the Wildlife Department for further action.
Second Crocodile In A Week
It should be noted that this is the second crocodile captured in the state capital within a week. The first one was caught on May 25 at Kampung Lok Baru in Pulau Gaya. It was a 12-foot-long crocodile.
