A video titled “BLACKPINK Jennie‘s Exposed Personality? was posted on July 10 by Lee Jin Ho. on his YouTube channel, “Why did the staff look so unhappy?”

The problem arose after Jennie posted a vlog detailing her adventures in Capri, Italy. Staff workers could be seen surrounding Jennie while she vaped during a makeup process in the footage. When it appeared as though she was blowing smoke in their faces, the uproar intensified.

According to Lee Jin Ho, Jennie’s behavior is typical in the entertainment sector. He said, “According to field staff, many celebrities smoke electronic cigarettes during photo shoots or makeup sessions, not just Jennie.”

Celebrity’s Image Concern

In order to preserve their reputation, celebrities refrain from smoking outside, according to Lee Jin Ho. It may be detrimental to their reputation if they are observed smoking in public.

To reduce these hazards, several organizations even promote smoking indoors. With the comment, “How many staff members could actually tell a celebrity not to smoke on set?” he brought attention to the power dynamics in the business.
