Blackpink Lisa’s management company LLOUD has recently announced the release of the highly-anticipated solo single “Rockstar” on June 27th Tuesday. Marking her first release after a three-year gap, the song will be released worldwide on June 28th at 9 am KST. It’s time for the “ROCKSTAR” Era!
Lisa, a member of BLACKPINK, has posted a video that features stylish and polished graphics to announce the release date of her solo single “Rockstar.” Also, she posted a short segment of her solo single, where the lyrics “Baby, I’m a rock star” can be faintly heard in the background.
This release will mark the star’s first release under a solo deal with RCA Records since releasing singles LALISA and MONEY in 2021. These two songs broke Tremendous records, including MONEY becoming the first K-Pop solo to cross a billion streams on a notable music platform.
Additionally, Lisa recently made a TikTok account, where she gained a million followers in just over 2 hours, setting a Guinness World Record. She even teased new music on her social media, writing, “Coming soon: Lisa.” which gained nearly 20 million likes earlier this month.

“I’m super excited to be joining the RCA family and I am confident they are the best team to create a bigger movement in my solo career. Looking forward to showing the world everything we have been preparing”, Lisa said in April.
Earlier this year, Lisa decided not to re-sign individually with YG Entertainment, giving them more control over the directions of their solo careers. This includes Lisa’s anticipated involvement in Season Three of The White Lotus.
