The lead actor, Allu Arjun, has officially announced that his blockbuster film’s sequel ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has been delayed. He revealed the new release date along with a poster.
On Monday, Allu Arjun shared a post on X handle unveiling a new poster for ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ showcasing himself in the lead role of Pushpa Raj. The actor was dressed in a grey t-shirt and a brown shirt with a matching bandana on his head along with a sword in his hand. He captioned the post, “#Pushpa2TheRule in cinemas from December 6th, 2024.”
Previously, ‘Pushpa 2’ was scheduled to compete with Nikkhil Advani’s action thriller ‘Vedaa’, and Rohit Shetty’s cop drama ‘Singham Again’ which had been rescheduled for the Diwali release., last week Puri Jagannadh’s sci-fi action film ‘Double iSmart’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’ were added to the schedule.

‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is a follow-up of the Telugu blockbuster ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. The first part, directed by Sukumar, featured Allu Arjun in the role of the anti-hero Pushpa Raj and Rashmika Mandanna as his love interest, Srivalli. Actor Fahadh Faasil made his entry towards the end of the film. The story of the first installment revolved around the smuggling of red sandalwood.
