From finding unexpected fame online to dodging e-hailing fares, Adeline keeps creating buzz on social media. After being criticised for her live Facebook sessions, Adeline has now been caught refusing to pay for extra eggs at a restaurant.
Adeline refuses to pay for extra eggs
A Facebook post by DayOne DayOne小時光 銷魂麺舖 shows Adeline visiting the SS2 restaurant for dinner. The post says she ordered noodles and a bowl of vegetarian soup and 2 extra eggs.
However, after finishing her food, she refused to Pay for one of the eggs, claiming she only had one. But the CCTV captured her eating both.
The outlet shared a receipt, which reveals her meal costed nearly RM60, with each extra egg priced at RM2.50. Adeline then asked other customers at the restaurant if they could pay for her.
“Can you pay RM2.50 for me?” Adeline asked 1 of the customers who ignored her.
“Adeline disturbed the 2nd table, and now she’s talking to customers on the 3rd table. She refuses to pay and doesn’t want to leave,” the PIC of the restaurant said.
Some customers asked Adeline, “You’ve made so much from live FB sessions. Why are you still not paying?”
The PIC then called the police after which two officers arrived and one of them settled the bill for her after a brief conversation.
Why did the cops pay for Adeline?
Reports say that the founder of the restaurant spoke to the officer who settled Adeline’s bill.
“Judging from the CCTV footage, the officers thought she had no money for the meal and felt sympathy for her. So, they paid the bill.”
