AMPANG: Three Singaporean men, all aged 22, were rescued in the early hours of July 1st after getting lost while hiking near the Bukit Apek waterfall in the Malaysian state of Selangor.
On Sunday, the men reportedly went hiking with their Malaysian friend at Apek Hill in Selangor.
According to China Press, assistant director of the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, said in a statement that they received an SOS call around 7.19 pm on June 30th.
Successful Rescue Operation Of Singaporean Hikers
They deployed a team of five personnel for the search and rescue operation, during which they stayed in touch throughout the operation.

“All the victims were successfully located at about 11.30 pm. They were safe and there were no injuries,” stated Ahmad.
All 3 men were safely rescued and escorted down from the hill at about 1.02 am and handed over to the police for further proceeding.
