KUALA LUMPUR – The mother of Zayn Rayyan Abdul Mateen, currently in police custody to assist in the investigation into the autistic boy’s murder, was reportedly brought back to their home at Idaman Apartments in Damansara Damai.
The aim was to recreate the circumstances of Zayn’s disappearance until his body was found on December 6 2023, according to reports.
However, it is not clear whether Zayn’s father was taken to the scene with his wife.
It is reported that Zayn’s mother will also be taken back to the site, a river located approximately 200 metres from the family’s residential block, where the child’s body was found.
Police officers were also seen carrying a child’s mannequin. However, their objective remains unclear, Berita Harian reported.
