Petaling Jaya: Why The Viral Couple With Baby On Respiratory Support Hasn't Married Yet?

PETALING JAYA: The couple, who were seen riding a motorcycle with their 11-month-old baby on respiratory support, had disappeared after the media tried to contact them but received no response and had their calls hung up.

According to mStar’s report, the man, Azlan, appeared at the mosque to collect a marriage application form today, as revealed by the imam of Al-Makrufi Mosque in Alor Setar, Kedah, through TikTok.

“Alhamdulillah, Mohd Azlan and his future father-in-law came to seek help in filling out the marriage application form. May their affairs be eased.”

Azlan also confirmed this and expressed gratitude to the mosque for assisting in facilitating their process to get married when contacted by mStar.

“Yes, it’s true, I went to the mosque earlier to complete the paperwork related to the marriage application form. Tomorrow (Monday), I will go to the clinic for an HIV test and blood test.”

“InsyaAllah, if everything goes smoothly, the day after tomorrow (Tuesday), I will marry my partner. A thousand thanks to Hazamer for being willing to help.”

“He told me that the important thing now is to expedite everything, regardless of what happened before. No human is free from mistakes.”

The man also denied claims that he had disappeared as reported by the media.

“My child is unwell. So, I only brought my partner’s identification card. I already informed the imam, and he said it was fine.”

Azlan also informed that his partner had divorced her ex-husband in August last year and had completed the ‘iddah period.

“My partner divorced in August last year and had gone to the religious office to file for divorce. However, the process was stalled due to very pressing financial factors.”

“We needed around RM60 to complete the divorce form, enter it into the system, and get a copy.”

“The RM60 was quite a large amount for us who at that time were just living hand-to-mouth.”

“When many people extended help for our child, only then were we able to go to the religious office to complete the divorce process.”

“It wasn’t that I intentionally stayed with my partner without a legitimate bond, but circumstances forced us. Perhaps if others were in my situation, they would choose the same path.”
