KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: Apple today previewed Apple The Exchange TRX, Malaysia’s first Apple Store. Located in the heart of the new Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) central business district in Kuala Lumpur, the new store will bring the magic of Apple to the country like never before. Customers can discover and shop Apple’s innovative line of products and services, receive service from expert team members, and learn how to get the most out of their devices during free Today at Apple sessions.

Range of Products Available
At Apple The Exchange TRX, the Apple products available for purchase range from the iPhone 15 series to the MacBook Air with M3 and the latest iPad models, including the redesigned iPad Air and the iPad Pro with M4.
Special “Jom Discover” Series
To celebrate the opening, a special Today at Apple series called “Jom Discover” will occur from Saturday, June 22 to Saturday, July 6. The sessions will bring together some of Malaysia’s most famous creators and provide insights into the creative process while showcasing Apple’s full range of products and services.

Architectural Features
Apple The Exchange TRX connects the mall’s central atrium with a lush rooftop park surrounding the store’s upper level. The three-dimensional layered roof, which emits warm light at night, is made of horizontal glass panels and sun protection slats to reduce solar radiation. A central glazed oculus brings natural light into the interior and provides a dynamic artificial lighting function.
A sculptural quartz and glass staircase inside the store connects the three levels where customers can explore, learn and shop. The Forum, home of the Today at Apple show, is located on a floating terrace connected to the mall, while the upper level connects directly to the edge of the park and brings natural light and greenery to the store through a glass facade.
Sustainability and Design
Like all Apple facilities, Apple The Exchange TRX is powered by 100% renewable energy and is carbon neutral. The store is designed with an exquisite palette of high-quality materials, including natural stone walls, polished stainless steel columns, light terrazzo floors and wooden ceilings.
Engaging with the Community
Visitors are invited to explore the exhibition tables and surrounding aisles and shop the new iPad Air with M2, the iPhone 15 range and the latest Apple Watch range – the first carbon-neutral Apple products. Apple specialists hope to collaborate with the local community through custom setup and support, moving to iOS and Apple Trade In, where customers can receive credit for a new device when trading in their current device.

Just in time for back to school, students and families can save on a Mac or iPad with Apple Education pricing, available exclusively through Apple Retail. In-store or online, eligible customers can also take advantage of the college student offer, valid through September 30, and receive an Apple Pencil with the purchase of an eligible Mac AirPods or with the purchase of an eligible iPad.
Convenience and Support
Apple Exchange TRX also has a dedicated Apple Pickup counter, making it even easier for customers to order online and pick up products at a time that is most convenient for them. And for convenient material and technical support, customers can reserve a table at the Genius Bar and get help from an expert.
