Aidiladha 2024: The Religious Significance
Aidiladha, also known as Hari Raya Haji or Korban, is a vibrant celebration observed by Muslims in Malaysia.
Aidiladha, or the Feast of Sacrifice, is observed on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic lunar calendar. It coincides with the final rites of Hajj, the fifth pillar of Islam, performed by millions of Muslims in Mecca.
The festival serves as a reminder of Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and submission to God’s will, symbolized through the ritual of Qurban, or animal sacrifice.
