Director Venkat Prabhu released ‘bday shots’ from his upcoming film, GOAT (The Greatest of All Time), on Vijay’s 50th birthday. The video Titled the GOAT Bday Shots, was also screened in theatres. The 50-second video shows Vijay in a dual role, caught up in a conflict with people chasing them.
The video showcases an older Vijay riding a bike in Russia as the younger Vijay as a passenger and shoots at those chasing them. The scene shows them shooting and riding away from numerous people on bikes till the older Vijay decides to flip his bike around and confront them.
The video concluded with numerous shots of Vijay, with one of them seeing him stand in front of numerous screens, hinting at what the film could be about.
“Happy birthday to THE GOAT @actorvijay na. Love you na,” wrote Venkat, sharing the glimpse on X (formerly Twitter).
‘Bday Shots’ Sparks Theater Celebrations And Fan Excitement
Since the teaser was released on Vijay’s birthday, it was also shown in theaters to mark the special occasion. Also, Fans posted pictures and videos from these screenings on social media platform X (Formerly known as Twitter).
A fan wrote while sharing a video of people dancing near the screen as the video screened at the theatre, “Thalapathy Vijay fans are going gaga over The GOAT Bday Shots in theatres. The response is terrific.”
