Stray Kids was awarded its third gold certification by the RIAA in the United States on June 13th, local time. It is a historic occasion for the K-pop boy band, as they are now only the second K-pop artist to accomplish the accomplishment after BTS.

Stray Kids have won their third RIAA gold certification in the United States. On June 13, local time in the United States, the Recording Industry Association of America, or RIAA, certified Stray Kids’ popular song Back Door as gold. The song earned it by selling more than 500,000 units in the United States.
Back Door became Stray Kids’ third song to be officially certified gold by the RIAA. Back Door is a theatrical tune with a distinct sound that resonates well with listeners. It’s a hip-hop song with pop and EDM influences and festival-like noises.
Meanwhile, the RIAA had previously recognized Stray Kids’ albums MANIAC and God’s Menu as gold. Back Door is Stray Kids’ sixth RIAA certification, following gold certifications for 5-STAR and ROCK-STAR in the United States.
