Rosé in Discussions to Join Teddy’s The Black Label

Rose

The thrilling news that Rosé from BLACKPINK is in talks to join The Black Label came on the 17th of this month. The music industry and fans are talking a lot about this possible change.

The Statement from the Black Label

DongA.com received confirmation from The Black Label that they are “in discussions” with Rosé. Teddy, a former member of the group 1TYM, launched The Black Label as an entertainment firm in 2016.

Zion.T, vocalist Jeon Somi, Park Bo-gum, Lee Jong-won, and Taeyang of BIGBANG are just a few of the well-known performers that the company represents. For Rosé, this potential collaboration may lead to new and intriguing ventures.

Teddy and Rosé’s Partnership

Teddy and Rosé have previously collaborated. Following their 2016 world premiere, BLACKPINK has worked together on a number of projects. Teddy has had a significant role in BLACKPINK’s success on a worldwide scale as a producer. Given their excellent working rapport, it is likely that this new collaboration will be quite fruitful and advantageous for Rosé’s solo career.

A Successful World Tour by BLACKPINK

This year, Rosé and the rest of BLACKPINK completed the biggest world tour that a K-pop girl group has ever attempted, called “BORN PINK.” The fact that over 1.8 million people attended this tour shows how well-liked BLACKPINK is.

They also played in front of around 2.115 million spectators at the UK’s Hyde Park and the US’s Coachella Festival.

Rosé and BLACKPINK’s agency, YG Entertainment, have been pursuing a “separate yet together” approach since the end of the previous year.

This suggests that in addition to her collaborative work with BLACKPINK under YG Entertainment, Rosé will explore other solo projects. She can pursue her personal interests and remain a member of BLACKPINK by employing this strategy.

Members of BLACKPINK’s Individual Projects

Rosé is not the only member of BLACKPINK that enjoys spending time by herself. For their own careers, Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo have each founded their own labels.

December of last year marked the introduction of Jennie’s label, Odd Atelier. Lisa began releasing music under her own label, LLOUD, in February of this year. In February, Jisoo founded her record label, BLISSOO, with her elder brother’s support.
