On the June 14th episode of ‘BamHouse’, an amazing and astounding disclosure became visible. TWICE’s Nayeon shared a story from their trainee days, revealing that GOT7’s BamBam had straightforwardly accepted having a crush on her.
BamBam’s Crush on Nayeon
During the episode, Nayeon discussed how BamBam was exceptionally open about his affections for her. She said, “People should understand that in school or anywhere else, usually if someone likes someone, it’s kept a secret. It wasn’t like that. BamBam liking me was a funny point for everyone. Everyone knew, and when I went into the vocal booth, someone would randomly hit BamBam. It was all fun.”
BamBam’s Side of Story
BamBam also gave his side of the tale. He stated that he was only a kid at the time and had received some criticism for admiring Nayeon. BamBam stated, “Some people condemned me for admiring Nayeon, but a few fans showed them my images from the time and said, ‘Look at him. Why doesn’t he like her? “Those people did not criticize me after seeing my photos.”
This demonstrates that, while facing some criticism, he had fans who backed him and helped to alter people’s minds.
Nayeon continued on to say that not only did the trainees know about BamBam’s crush, but so did the company’s employees. She stated, “For trainees, having a crush and dating are prohibited, but he openly did it.” Even all of the company’s employees knew.”
This candor is uncommon, particularly in the rigid context of trainee life, where such feelings are typically kept hidden to minimize disruptions from their demanding training routines.
