On the July 11th episode of singer Kim Jaejoong’s YouTube series “Jaefriends,” Minnie, a member of (G)I-DLE, shocked everyone by verifying suspicions that she comes from an affluent home.
With handmade kimchijjim, Kim Jaejoong welcomed Minnie to his show. The two celebrities discussed the recent album by (G)I-DLE as well as their outstanding career.
Jaejoong also desired to know more about Minnie’s personal background. In response to his question, “Do you have a house in Thailand?” Minnie said, “No, I live with my parents.”
Luxurious Home and Grandmother’s Hotel

Jaejoong also brought up Minnie’s gorgeous ensemble from the Songkran Festival in Thailand. Wearing traditional Thai garb, Minnie clarified, “The royal family used to wear those exact same outfits a long time ago.
Over one billion KRW was spent on the full outfit. It is composed only of genuine gold and diamonds. I had to remain erect the entire time since it was so heavy.”
Family Pride
Minnie cherished the memories of her parents’ pride at the fair. She remarked, “My parents had been grinning broadly all day. I stood in the center, surrounded by a plethora of renowned performers and actresses. They were quite pleased.”
