Kim Hye Yoon has opened up to media about a recent controversy surrounding her agency. Recently, Hye Yoon who starred in popular Korean drama ‘Lovely Runner’ spoke to media about her growing popularity. The lead actress has gained a lot of attention internationally, thanks to her role as “Im Sol” in the hit K-Drama.
During the interview, Kim Hye Yoon was questioned on her lack of appearances in variety shows criticizing her label ‘Artist Company’ . Kim Hye Yoon defended her label and shut down the controversy. The ‘Lovely Runner’ actress was astonished by the rumored controversy.
“I was taken aback. It reminded me again how popular this drama was. My fans have never done that before. I was doing as much as I could, though. The thing, is though, the variety shows need to ask for me, but nobody had asked for me at that time,” said Hye Yoon.
We never rejected an offer (to appear on a show). If (variety shows) call me, I will appear on the show and go to the Hweshik (afterparty) too”, she added.
Earlier, fans claimed that her agency wasn’t giving enough exposure to the rising actresses which became a subject of huge controversy.
