Keerthy Suresh, a prominent actress from the South Indian film industry, will be seen in the uplifting satirical film ‘Raghu Thatha’. She essays the role of Kayalvizhi, a character who speaks against the imposition of Hindi, in this comedy-drama. The film marks Suman Kumar’s directorial debut.
The actress took it to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the release date of her upcoming film ‘Raghu Thatha’ and also revealed a new character poster. The film is slated for August 15 release.
Interestingly, the release date of ‘Raghu Thatha’ will directly clash with superstar Allu Arjun’s much-awaited Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Hombale Films has produced the film ‘Raghu Thatha’, featuring a cast that includes Keerthy Suresh, MS Bhaskar, Ravindra Vijay, Devadharshini, Jayakumar, Rajeev Ravindranathan among others. The technical crew includes Sean Roldan as music composer, Yamini Yagnamurthy as cinematographer and TS Suresh as editor.
