Fan Protest at TripleS Meeting: Ignoring Members Who Moved Out

TripleS

TripleS has announced that during inactive periods, some of the 24-member group will choose to live independently rather than in the group dorm. Sohyun, Hyerin, Jiwoo, and Yooyeon are among the members who plan to leave.

This announcement upset some TripleS fans, prompting a recent protest at a fan meeting. Photos from the fan meeting have surfaced, showing one fan ignoring member Sohyun and refusing to engage with her.

Screenshots of the boycott being planned have also been discovered, with one fan telling those attending the fan meeting: “Don’t talk to those members, don’t look at them, and when you sit in front of those members, turn your back on them.” According to the photos of the fan meetup, at least one fan took such advice.

Blacklisting and Reaction

Once the protesting fan was discovered, it was declared that he would be banned from attending any future TripleS fan meetings.

Other fans responded to the recent incident with shock.

“Normal people wouldn’t get upset over something like that”

“Why would you do that? What’s wrong with them not staying at the dorm?”

“I feel sorry for the members”

“I really don’t understand why you would do that to someone who had to live in those cramped dorms. I’m glad he’s been blacklisted”

“Getting this invested in a group’s dorm arrangements is the most embarrassing thing ever lol, what are you doing?”

“It’s good that the company acted right away to blacklist him”

The event demonstrates how some fans might have disproportionate reactions to basic concerns such as living conditions. While some fans supported the boycott, many others denounced it, arguing that it is unjust to punish members based on their personal lifestyle choices. The company’s prompt response to blacklist the protesting fan demonstrates the significance of preserving their artists’ well-being and privacy.
