As the countdown has nearly reached its end, the wait is almost over as the BTS’ Jin is coming home after completing his military service that lasts for a year and a half. BTS’s Jin is set to be discharged on June 12th. All the members of BTS are expected to gather for this anticipated event.
BTS members RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, Jungkook, and V who are currently serving in the military, are set to reunite to celebrate the discharge of their eldest member, Jin. According to the sources, all Members have taken leave to gather together to welcome Jin as he completes his military service.
HYBE Releases Official Statement
Recently, HYBE has officially released a statement regarding Jin’s military discharge. It states that there will be no official discharge ceremony Due to safety concerns at the training base. The BTS members had initially planned to meet Jin at the military base. But, to avoid potential overcrowding, they are expected to celebrate his discharge at a private location in Seoul quietly.
Regarding this, Big Hit Music, their agency, stated, “It is difficult to confirm,” showing a careful approach. Previously, the members have shown strong bonds and close friendships by taking leave to greet each other on their enlistment days.
BTS Jin’s Military Service
BTS Jin enlisted in the Army as an active-duty soldier on December 13, 2022, becoming the first member of BTS to start his military service. He worked as an instructor at the 5th Infantry Division’s training center during his military enlistment. He is scheduled to finish his 18-month service and be discharged on the 12th of June.
On June 13th, the day after Jin’s military discharge, the group will hold an offline event called ‘2024 FESTA’ at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, where they will gather with fans for a grand celebration to mark the 11th anniversary of BTS’s debut.
