Jennie from BLACKPINK has created a new personal account under her own name. Her bandmate Lisa joined the well-known platform a few days prior and began sharing teases of new songs. Could Jennie’s presence on TikTok be a sign of her upcoming music release?
Jennie Launched Her Tik Tok Account
Around 12:30 p.m. KST on June 17 (or 9:00 a.m. IST), Jennie launched her own TikTok page. Fans rushed to the well-known social media platform to check out her account as soon as the news went viral online.
So, in just one hour after opening her account, the K-pop superstar has over 100,000 followers.

A few days prior, Lisa, the maknae of BLACKPINK, joined TikTok and in just two hours and eighteen minutes, she had over one million followers. By doing this, Lisa not only became the user with the fastest one million followers, but she also broke the record held by BTS, who gained their following in just three hours and thirty-one minutes after signing up.
In the meantime, Rosé opened her personal TikTok account in 2021, making her the first member of BLACKPINK to do so. Among other K-pop artists, she also has the most views on her videos.
