Strong Girl Namsoon 

\The K-drama Strong Girl Namsoon aired in 2023, and Byeon Woo Seok played the role of a villain who fell in love with the main lead. 

Byeon Woo Seok gained so much fame for his role in this drama as people appreciated his character and his acting.

The storyline is all about a kid, Gang Nam-Soon, who is lost in Mongolia. After she grows up, she goes to South Korea to track down her parents. She finds her mother, Hwang Geum-joo, who’s really rich, and her grandmother, Gil Joong-gan, in Gangnam. 

Yet, things get confused when Nam-soon, her mother, and grandmother become involved with a drug case being investigated by criminal investigator Gang Hee-sik. The case includes an organization called Doogo, run by Ryu Shi-Oh (Byeon Woo Seok).

Moonshine

This K-drama appeared in 2021 and shows the story of the Joseon period, when liquor was prohibited for quite a while but individuals still needed it.

The laws against drinking, purchasing, or making liquor caused some serious problems for various people: Inspector Nam Young, who moved from his old neighborhood to Hanyang to acquire distinction and help his family. 

Kang Ro Seo, an honorable woman who’s poor yet makes unlawful liquor to pay obligations and purchase medication for her mother and books for her sibling,  and even Crown Prince Lee Pyo (Byeon Woo Seok), who escaped the castle to get a drink. These three meet by some coincidence and track down a secret reserve of liquor.

Record of Youth 

Record of Youth aired in 2020, and this k-drama shows the growth of young people who struggle to achieve their dreams by exploring different things and sentiments. 

The storyline of this drama about Sa Hye Joon is truly charming and sharp. He’s a renowned model and a struggling actor, however, what he really needs is to be a superstar. He’s gone for bunches of acting auditions yet hasn’t gotten any chance.

Meanwhile, Ahn Jung Ha is a makeup artist. She appears to be bright and cheerful, yet at the same time, she’s quite lonely inside. 

Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency  

Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency aired in 2019. The story revolves around an ordinary country blacksmith, Lee Soo had no idea he would ever rule all of Joseon; but, at the age of twenty-three, that’s exactly what happened. 

Now as king, Lee Soo is finding it hard to adapt to the restrictions of palace life, especially where matters of the heart are concerned.

Hiring the best matchmaking agency in Joseon, Lee Soo asks the talented Flower Crew to transform his first love into a noblewoman. Accepting the king’s request, Ma Hoon, Do Joon  (Byeon Woo Seok) and Go Young Soo take Gae Ddong into their care.
