One of the most well-known and well-liked manga and anime series in recent years is Jujutsu Kaisen. Both manga and anime fans have been drawn to the characters, storylines, and sorcerer’s powers.
However, the beloved series is almost over because its finale is set for later this year. JJK’s author, Gege Akutami, has revealed that he has written the series’ conclusion.
While some viewers may be upset that the show is ending so quickly, others think the plot has reached its climax.
Numerous characters have died in the JJK plot, including the main sorcerer Gojo Satoru. His melancholy reappearance in the narrative has led some fans to conclude that the manga ought to end soon.
Why is Gojo’s return so depressing?
As the most powerful sorcerer in the Jujutsu universe, Gojo Satoru has emerged as a major figure in the anime industry. The character has, however, also been used as a last-minute fix for every impractical solution in the series as a result of this image.
According to ScreenRant, he was so powerful that even after his death, the evil Ryomen Sukuna is vanquished from the plot using his corpse.
Gojo’s presence is well-balanced to avoid overpowering other characters, although of late, he has become a tool without any sense of regret for the role he played. The idea that Gojo is a tool is solidified in Jujutsu Kaisen manga episode 261 (Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown, Part 33), when Yuta and other sorcerers choose to utilize Gojo’s body to battle the King of Curses.
This made me worry that the character would continue to be mistreated after his death. Thus, the idea of concluding the manga with a fight between Yuji and Sukuna that brings about much-needed calm for the strongest sorcerer.
Plans of Gege Akutami for the end of JJK
Jujutsu Kaisen manga is renowned for its plot-focused writing style, devoid of any extraneous chapters or episodes. It doesn’t make sense to extend the story beyond what is absolutely necessary when the plot and resolution are so well-planned.
The demise of numerous characters, including Nanami, Gojo, and Nobara, also sets the ground for Yuji to exact revenge on Sukuna for the deaths of his peers.
A fight between Sukuna and Yuji would be the perfect way for the series to end. Nevertheless, the manga can end either way because the plot has been so unpredictable thus far.
