Dubai has revised two years of rain in just one day. The United Arab Emirates recorded the heaviest rain ever after several thunderstorms hit the country.
The United Arab Emirates experienced unprecedented weather all across the nation starting on April 16. Meteorology recorded a historic 254 mm of rainfall in less than 24 hours, making it the highest amount since records began in 1949.
This severe weather causes significant flooding, affects roads, and cancels all flights and train services. Now this storm is repeatedly spreading across the whole UAE, and due to this, people are facing a lot of problems. The rain and storms are so heavy that it is very difficult for people to get out of their houses.
In major cities like Abu Dhabi and other major cities, roads were submerged under water, complicating travel and daily activities for many residents. The Dubai metro station also experienced the extensive impact of the storm.
What’s the reason behind it?
The reason behind the artificial rain is’cloud seeding’ and triggers natural calamities in Dubai. Due to this, the entire city is now shut down.
Cloud seeding is a process used to enhance rainfall as an integral part of the UAE’s mission to solve water shortages.
