Today, April 2nd, South Korean record label and entertainment agency Around Us Entertainment representing the renowned boy band Highlight, has made a remarkable announcement. They disclosed that Highlight has fortunately retrieved the trademark rights to their original name, BEAST.

The Origins of BEAST

The band consists of four members , Yoo Doo-joon, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Don-wong. This evolution is now a symbol of a crucial moment for the group, which in the early stages debuted under the moniker BEAST in 2019.
However, following their departure from CUBE Entertainment in 2016, they went through a name change to Highlight. Now, with the trademark rights restored, BEAST stands as a sign of their journey.

Continuing Legacy as HIGHLIGHT

However, regardless of regaining the trademark rights to their earliest name, BEAST, the boy band has decided to carry on with their promotional activities under the name HIGHLIGHT.
