Singapore: Gordon Ling, 31-year-old, the cafe owner of Coffee Code Singapore located at Neil Road, reported that his team noticed, that a mirror from their shop was missing on June 9th, Sunday. The café owner claimed that his staff opened the shop and saw that the mirror had disappeared.
After checking the CCTV footage, the team found out that the mirror was stolen around 2:07 am that morning. In the footage, a woman can be seen indicating at someone off-camera before removing her jacket.
Then, she bent down to pick up the mirror, which was placed on the floor, using the jacket. In an instant, she was seen running away from the cafe, with another woman beside her.
The café owner posted an Instagram story with the caption, “When the Coffee Code’s Mirror is too cute to resist, you can’t help but to steal it home”
“Goodbye little one, hope they will let you come back soon.”
Ling highlighted that the mirror is custom-made but he is not sure about the price as it was purchased by his spouse. He was disappointed and said, “I feel shocked and I am upset. Why is the young lady doing this?
“This is the first time something has been stolen from us since we opened last year on Sept 1.”
He also shared that in the meantime, they have plans to get another mirror. In the meantime, He also shared that they are currently planning to get another mirror in place of the previous one.
