In a horrifying incident, three Pakistani men lost their lives, and the other three sustained injuries after being hit by a car at Kilometre 16, Jalan Teluk Intan-Bidor, Teluk Intan. It is believed that all six were going to offer morning prayer in a nearby mosque. The three badly injured Pakistani men were sent to a nearby hospital, while the other three were declared dead.

Hilir Perak district police chief ACP Ahmad Adnan Basri revealed that the authorities were notified of the incident at 8:10 am. However, before they could reach the accident scene, the incident went viral on Facebook. He further informed that the three injured Pakistani men were sent to Teluk Intan Hospital for treatment.

Accident Details

 “Investigations at the scene of the accident indicate that a local man, 36, who was driving a Proton Saga, lost control and skidded to the left shoulder of the road and plowed into the six Pakistani men who were walking there,” he said. According to the initial investigation, the 36-year-old local man, driving a Proton was found under the influence of cannabis.
