KUALA LUMPUR (MALAYSIANS), May 17- Sivasangari Subramaniam, a prominent national squash player, has been recognized a one of the four Malaysians to be included in Forbes’ 30 under 30 Asia list.
Sivasangari, aged 25, was recognized in the field of entertainment and sports due to her achievements. These include her outstanding performance at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, where she got two gold medals, just seven months after she survived a tragic car accident.
In April, Sivasangari made history by winning the London Classic championship. She is the first Malaysian woman to triumph in a gold-level tournament. She is currently positioned as the 13th in the world.
The roster has been expanded with the inclusion of more Malaysians, namely, Angel Low from The Hive Southeast Asia specializing in finance or venture capital, Erica Eng the animations with expertise in media, marketing, and advertising, and Lee Zhe Xi, is the talented chef/owner to Eat and Cook in involved in arts.
Forbes recognized Low for her position as the general manager of AI Nusantara, an initiative by Selangor Digital School and one of The Hive Southeast Asia’s investments. This initiative aids students in their preparation for the digital future by providing education on AI and machine learning.
Eng’s transformation of her claimed webcomic, Fried Rice, into a graphic novel and her into the esteemed Forbes’ 30 under 30 Asia list.
The story narrator of Fried Rice revolves around Min, a talented or ambitious artist, drawing inspiration from Eng’s encounters facing rejections in her studies in the United States.
Lee received recognition for the successful expansion of his Eat and Cook restaurant, which was included in the Michelin Recommended list for both 2023 and 2024
