‘Queen of Tears’ actress Kim Ji-won announces her first solo fan meeting in Macau

Kim Ji-won is all set to hold her first fan meeting tour in Asia including Macau this August. This is followed by her Queen of Tears co-star Kim Soo-hyun, who also announced his fan meeting in Hong Kong in the same month. 

The tour will be considered as Kim Ji-won’s first solo fan meeting in Asia. Other than Macau, she will also be visiting Osaka, Tokyo, Taipei, Manila, Bangkok, and Jakarta.

Kim Ji-Won First Fan Meeting In Asia

The massive success of Queen of Tears which broke the record for the highest-rated TV series in tVN’s history, played a huge role in announcing her solo fan meeting.

The ‘Be My One’ fan meeting will begin in Osaka in July, followed by Tokyo and Taipei. In August, she will meet her fans in Manila, Macau, and Bangkok. Eventually, she’ll wrap up her first Asian tour in Jakarta.

Ji-won’s Journey As An Actress

Kim Ji-won is an amazing actress, who is well-trained in singing and dancing as well. Before making her debut as an actor, she used to be a background vocalist for Younha and even performed as a keyboardist and background vocalist in her various performances.She was about to make her debut as a singer but ended up appearing in the drama Mrs. Saigon.

She shot to fame for her character as Yoo Rachel in the K-Drama ‘The Heirs’. Renowned screenwriter Kim Eun-sook wrote the popular drama which brought immense success to Kim. Eventually, She worked with Kim Eun-sook again in her highly successful drama, Descendents of the Sun besides Song Joong-Ki.

Since then there has been no looking back for Kim as she bagged her first lead role opposite Park Seo-joon in Fight for My Way. Then, she reunited with Song Joong-ki, her co-star in the Descendents of the Sun, in Arthdral Chronicles. Her most recent work includes Queen of Tears, in which she starred opposite Kim Soo-hyun.
