South Korean actor and model Lee Min-Ho, holds on to his status of being the most beloved Korean actor for 11 consecutive years. His great dramas and on-screen roles always left the magic behind. His great hard work made him top Hallyu star. With a massive following of 35 million on Instagram, he holds the position of most followed Korean actor.

The 2024 Overseas Korean Wave Survey, issued jointly by the ministry of culture sports and tourism and the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, highlighted the continued global appeal of Lee Min-Ho. He secured the top position of most loved Korean actor because of his immense popularity in South Korea and abroad.

Lee gained his fame by playing the role of Gu Jun-Pyo in drama boys over flower. However, Lee’s other dramas like The Heirs, The King: eternal monarch, The legend of blue seas are still stealing the hearts of his fans after so many years.

Additionally, with a net worth of USD 26 million, he made history by becoming the first Korean actor to have a wax figure crafted in his likeness at Madame Tussauds, with figures unveiled in Shanghai in 2013 and Hong Kong in 2014.

Fans are eagerly waiting for Lee Min-Ho drama “Ask the Stars” after a two-year break following Apple TV’s drama “Pachinko”. The series follows the fortunate encounter of a space-tourist and an astronaut on a space station.

Lee Min-Ho will portray the role of Gong Ryong, an obstetrician-gynecologist with a strong sense of responsibility who arrives at the space station as a tourist, forming a special romance with Gong Hyo-Jin, who plays the Korean American astronaut Eve Kim.

Furthermore, he is currently filming his new movie Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint which will also include Blackpink’s Jisoo, Ahn Hyo Seop, Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, Nana, Park Ho San and Choi Young Joon.
