KARA’s Gyuri Halts Activities Due to Facial Fractures

Gyuri

Park Gyuri, an actress and member of KARA, will take a brief break from her career to heal from face fractures. Gyuri’s management organization, Big Boss Entertainment, revealed on July 13 that the actress had fractures to her cheekbone and eye socket. This injury happened during her own time, and she went to the doctor right away.

Details of Injury

Gyuri‘s wounds were severe enough, according to Big Boss Entertainment, to call for surgery. Because the fractures were so fragile, doctors suggested a 4–5 week recuperation period.

After extensive deliberations with Gyuri, with an emphasis on her health and wellbeing, the choice was taken. Consequently, Gyuri will be taking a break from all physically demanding activities and will not be attending any of her planned events for the remainder of July.

Gyuri’s health is a top priority for Big Boss Entertainment, which pledged to give her all the help she needs to recuperate as soon as possible. Gyuri’s absence from scheduled events is having an impact on the agency, therefore they are making plans to prioritize her health.

Impact on KARA’s Upcoming Plans

KARA has plans for their forthcoming release and concerts, even with Gyuri’s brief absence. The group will release “I Do I Do,” their new single, at 6 PM KST on July 24.

They also have August solo gigs planned in Tokyo and Osaka. The group’s itinerary will go as scheduled, but you might notice Gyuri’s absence at certain activities.

Due to her recent injury, Park Gyuri has had to put her activities on hold while she heals from her face fractures. The public and fans are hoping for a speedy and complete recovery, and at this time, the support of her management and the KARA team will be essential.

Notwithstanding this obstacle, KARA keeps up their promotional efforts, and fans eagerly anticipate their next albums and live appearances.
