K-Pop Powerhouses: IVE, aespa, and ILLIT Dominate June

IVE

The brand reputation rankings for girl groups for the month of June have been revealed, and IVE has come out on top. Aespa and ILLIT have also risen to the top of the list with them, demonstrating their dominant influence in the K-pop landscape right now.

IVE tops the list once again.

Topper of the list is IVE, once again the most popular female group, with a brand reputation rating of 5,787,831. On April 29, the female group released their most recent mini-album, IVE SWITCH, to positive reviews from fans. May of 2024 saw IVE again at the top of the list.

According to IVE’s keyword analysis, the terms “world tour,” “YouTube,” and “elementary school president” were the top three. The terms “happy,” “grow,” and “healthy” ranked highest. 90.86% of the responses to IVE’s positivity-negativity study were positive.

AESPA Has a Startling Increase

Aespa came in second with a brand reputation index of 5,409,956, indicating a significant growth of 71.17 percent over the previous month. On May 27, Aespa published their debut album, Armageddon, the titles of which, Supernova and Armageddon, went on to become huge blockbusters.

ILLIT Claims Third Spot

With a brand reputation value of 5,087,256, ILLIT took third place. The group’s standing has been greatly influenced by their recent actions, which include their participation in numerous variety shows and their interactions with fans on social media.

After receiving submissions from May 9 to June 9, 2024, the Korean Business Research Institute released these rankings on June 9, 2024. The media, consumer involvement, interaction, and community index of girl groups are analyzed, and the results are compared to determine the rankings.

In June’s girl group brand reputation rankings, (G)I-DLE and LE SSERAFIM came in closely behind, rating fourth and fifth, respectively. As female groups continue to attract audiences around the world, both fans and industry insiders are curious to see how these rankings may change in the upcoming months.
