Dior deletes Kim Ji Won ambassador post

On July 6, Kim Ji Won was present at the brand’s Diamond Towers boutique launch in Taipei, according to a recent post made by Dior on their official Twitter (X) account. They acknowledged her as the house ambassador in the caption before expressing gratitude for her attendance at the star-studded affair.

As soon as the actress was announced as the newest house ambassador for the French brand, fans raced to the X post to congratulate her. Dior swiftly left fans perplexed as to what would happen next, even though many mistook the tweet for an official announcement that she would be joining other K-celebs as the fashion house ambassador.

After receiving a resounding amount of support from followers, the brand amended the post thirty minutes later, deleting only the reference to the “house ambassador.” Later, they entirely removed the post and replaced it with a new one, which aroused even more curiosity.

Many questions have been sparked by the brand’s unclear behavior on this particular day. Some speculate that the person who posted this may not have known about Kim Ji Won’s affiliation with the company. Later, the post was changed and taken off after Dior was made aware of it.

As for the prominent Korean celebs endorsing Dior as brand ambassadors, they include Jisoo of BLACKPINK, Haerin of NewJeans, Jimin of BTS, Cha Eun Woo of ASTRO, and Nam Joo Hyuk.

However, Kim Ji Won is still the representative of The Whoo, Bvlgari, and Bvlgari Allegra. Following the current incident, fans are waiting for an official statement addressing the actress’s status with the French design business.
