Controversy Effect: NewJean’s Album Sales Cut in Half

NewJeans, a popular girl group in K-pop, delivered another album that everybody was amped up for. Their last album did all around well, so individuals had high expectations for this one.

On the first day, “How Sweet” sold more than 810,000 copies, raising any desire to reach ‘the’million seller’ mark. Nonetheless, deals dropped altogether from the second day onwards, with somewhere around 70,000 additional copies sold during the remainder of the underlying counting time frame. As of the third, complete sales had arrived at 891,179 copies.

 K-pop Album Market Slows: NewJeans Sales Decline
