BTS’ Jimin’s “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” Tops iTunes in 108 Countries in 24 Hours

Jimin of BTS is gearing up for his eagerly awaited solo return with the release of his album MUSE. But the album’s pre-release single and its cute music video have already been released. The song is topping the iTunes list in more than 100 countries because to the overwhelming positive reception it has gotten from fans.

Jimin’s Smeraldo Garden Marching Band ranks no. 1 in iTunes

Jimin of BTS released the music video for his new solo single, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, starring LOCO, on June 28, 2024. The song immediately shot to the top of the iTunes list in a number of different regions after its release.

The song reached the top of the charts in 108 countries in less than a day after its release, including the US, UK, Japan, Brazil, France, Germany, Australia, Canada, and more.

In addition, the song’s music video has received 5.5 million views on YouTube overall. The release date of the next album MUSE is set for July 19, 2024, at 1:00 PM KST. The album’s tracklist, which includes Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, has also been made public. It will include seven songs overall.

The album also included the previously released song Closer Than This. In addition, fans are eagerly awaiting the collaborative song Slow Dance with Sofia Carson.

More About Jimin 

Jimin of BTS had his K-pop idol debut in 2013 with the group, along with members RM, Jin, Suga, V, Jungkook, and J-Hope. He put out solo tracks through group albums like Lie, Filter, and others prior to his official debut.

The first K-pop soloist to achieve this feat was the singer, who made his solo debut in 2023 with the album Face and its first single “Like Crazy,” which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Along with his teammate Jungkook, the artist enrolled in the military on December 13, 2024. The performer will be let go sometime in 2025, at which point he will carry on as a K-pop idol.
